Angling With a Caravan

To do this you either need a wife who fishes with you or one a little more tolerant than Steph ( my wife) although she’s getting better.  So you’ll need an extra fridge for your bait ( don’t forget the smell) also an extra cool box ( an electric one may mean that you don’t need an extra fridge) is a good investment to keep such as worms,  sweetcorn, luncheon meat cool between sessions.

If you are sea fishing a GOOD tip is to remember to gut your catch before returning to base as this also removes a very smelly operation and one which some women would definitely DEMAND that you do outside even in a blizzard (VBG  yup that’s my wife)

One main advantage of taking your van is you can get a hot cup of fresh tea or coffee( or a cold beer) or a hot snack without having to do more than take your bait out of the water

(Remember it is illegal to leave a fishing rod un-attended at any time even for a call of nature - technically this means most carp anglers who sleep are breaking the law).

Follow the sites index to find sites that give you the advantage for going fishing on holiday, and any suggestions for more sites will be acted on, if you have a report send it to me and I will credit you with it.
